The Standing Offer period is from standing offer award through to December 31, 2025.
It is anticipated to have up to 3 deliveries of this training per year for a maximum total of 18 sessions.
The specific dates of these anticipated deliveries will be communicated once confirmed through a call-up.
The Conservation and Protection (C&P) Directorate has a requirement to train up 300 new fishery officers over the next six years. The Cadets must follow 16 weeks of classroom training which is part of the departmental “Fishery Officer Career Progression Program” (FOCPP). A mandatory training module is the MED A1 training.
To provide the fishery officer Cadets with the minimum knowledge of emergency response required to safely work aboard a vessel according to the Transport Canada course syllabus in Marine Publication TP 4957 (Annex D)
The Contractor must deliver the MED A1 training to groups of up to 32 fishery officer cadets.
