The Office of Audit and Evaluation (OAE) at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is a key provider of reasonable assurance and advice on departmental operations to the Deputy Minister and the Comptroller General of Canada. Reporting directly to the Deputy Minister, the Office makes recommendations to improve governance, controls, performance and cost effectiveness of AAFC’s operations.

The preliminary audit objective is to assess the effectiveness of the delivery of an IM/IT-enabled solution for (Voted) Grants and Contributions (G&C) programs.

The objective is to be reviewed and finalized as part of the planning process for each proposed audit.
