    This contract was awarded to:

    Hemmera Envirochem Inc.

    Arctic Gold and Silver (AGS) and Venus Mine are abandoned mines located in the vicinity of Carcross, Yukon. AGS site is located approximately 4 km south of Carcross, Yukon part way up Montana Mountain. Venus Mine is located approximately 22 km south of Carcross, Yukon on the east side of the South Klondike Highway and adjacent to the edge of Windy Arm (Tagish Lake).

    Crown Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is seeking a qualified environmental consultant to perform surface and groundwater monitoring at monitoring locations at AGS and Venus mine. The monitoring locations include the wells and drive points installed in 2019. In addition, to monitor the vibrating wire piezometers located at the Venus Mine site.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

    This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement:

    Carcross/Tagish First Nation Final Agreement.

    The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to April 30, 2022 inclusive.
