NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Amendment 001
This amendment is raised to modify documents and extend the bid closing date to June 30, 2020.
The Department of National Defence has a requirement for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) of Heavy Logistic Vehicle Wheeled (HLVW) Brake Shoes, Axles and Torque Rods to carry out all necessary processes required to return the items to a fully serviceable condition. The work includes: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, overhaul, reassembly, painting, calibration, testing, and packaging & preservation process.
The work under this requirement will be carried out for a three (3) year period from the effective date of contract award, with an option to extend the contract for two (2) additional option periods of one (1) year under the same terms and conditions.
The majority of the work under this requirement will be completed on a "Free Flow" basis. Any work for Special Investigations & Technical Studies (SITS) and/or Technical Investigations & Engineering Studies (TIES) will be completed on an “as and when requested basis” under DND 626 Task Authorization forms.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Debriefings
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process.
