Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) - Microcomputer Mobile Devices

Canada has a requirement for the supply, delivery, configuration, installation, integration and implementation of Computer Systems, including System Upgrades, System Components, Unevaluated Options, warranty, maintenance, software support services and documentation, all of which is to be provided on an “as-and-when-requested” basis to locations throughout Canada, including any locations in areas subject to any of the Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements, when a Call-up is made in accordance with any resulting NMSOs. Any resulting Standing Offers may be used by any Government Department, Departmental Corporation or Agency, or other body of the Government of Canada (including all those described in the Financial Administration Act, as amended from time to time) or any other party for which Shared Services Canada has been authorized to act from time to time under section 16 of the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act. This Standing Offer does not preclude Canada from using another method of supply for entities of the Government of Canada with the same or similar needs.

Canada has invoked the National Security Exception for all purposes with respect of this requirement and, as a result, none of disciplines of the trade agreements apply to this procurement.

Each Category of this Standing Offer for Microcomputer Mobile Devices has standing offer period of two (2) years, plus 2 option periods of two (2) years each.

This Standing Offer results from a Collaborative Procurement Process by Shared Services Canada (SSC) for Workplace Technology Devices (WTD) Microcomputer Mobile Devices (the “Project”). The first procurement phase for the project was the Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) phase. In the ITQ phase, certain Respondents (the “Qualified Respondents”) were qualified to proceed to the second phase, Review and Refine Requirements (RRR), in accordance with the evaluation process described in the ITQ. Only Qualified Respondents selected during the ITQ phase were eligible to participate in the RRR phase and subsequent Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) phase. The RFSO phase is the third and final phase of the procurement process.
