Renovation Project – Regina, SK

Description:

Work on this Contract comprises of the renovating of approximately 40m² of interior space on the main floor of an occupied building. 

The project site is located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Scope of work is comprised of selective demolition of two (2) existing secure holding cell areas into a differently purposed room. Demolition work comprised of removal of concrete block walls; removal of cell doors & frames; removal of concrete bunks; removal of epoxy flooring; removal of exterior glazing units.

New construction is comprised of new concrete block partitions, c/w pressed steel doors and frames to suit new room layout; new seamless epoxy quartz flooring to the entire renovated area; elastomeric epoxy paint finish throughout.

Furnishings include supply and install of new scientific grade millwork with stainless steel countertops.

Selective mechanical to include plumbing fixtures, duct work and sprinkler modifications all to suit new layout; supply and install new exhaust fan, supply and install new Hepa filter.

Selective electrical to include new rough-in and wiring; mechanical connections and modifications; fire alarm modifications; supply and install data communications; supply and install security rough-in; supply and install lighting, complete controls modifications as required to suit new layout.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by January 31st, 2021.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
