Whelping Pod Construction – Innisfail, AB

Description:

Supply all material and labour to construct a new Whelping Pod at the Police Dog Service Training Center at Innisfail AB.

The site will need to be prepared for the construction of the new building and outdoor kennel area/dog runs.

It will contain four whelping rooms, food storage area, dog socialization room, outdoor kennel area /dog runs, staff washroom, mechanical room, office space with a drain the area, and laundry services and prep area.

The building will be slab on grade, singe story, approximately 118m2, with HVAC (complete with zone controls that have the ability to react quickly to a change in demand), CCTV system within all whelping rooms, and a zoned audio system.

Building services will require power, water, sewer, gas and telecommunications.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31^st, 2021.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
