Description:
Work of this Contract comprises security upgrades to the existing building at 434 1st Street N. in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. The building requires upgrades throughout including but not limited to the following: Selective Demolition of interior elements consisting of doors, detention doors, millwork, interior glazing, interior partitions, acoustical panels, plumbing and electrical fixtures, etc. Installation of new doors and detention doors. Installation of new millwork and interior glazing. Installation of new floor, wall and ceiling finishes consisting of epoxy flooring and wall bases, paint, intumescent paint and acoustical panels. Revisions and upgrades to existing mechanical and electrical systems to suit building modifications.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st, 2021.
This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
