The Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) is modifying its services to include data collected at client manufacturing plant facilities through Plant Inspections conducted by competent industry contractors, at the request of CCMC.
The following RFSO details the mandatory requirements and selection requirements which will be used to select the most qualified and competent contractors. A high focus on technical competence and experience is paramount. The primary focus of these services is the continued protection of the Canadian public, realised by independent and impartial plant inspections.
The services of up to ten (10) inspection bodies will be selected to provide “Plant Inspection” services within the following scope of work. The successful contractor(s) will:
- Inform CCMC of any relevant changes to the status of their accreditation and/or liability insurance, or any significant changes to their audit or inspection resources.
[1] Completion of a Plant Inspection means the necessary inspection activities and any other necessary administrative work associated with completing, reviewing and approving the CCMC Plant Inspection Form (following CCMC Plant Inspection Requirements, both are attached to this Statement of Work), and submission to CCMC, including responding to any additional questions from CCMC in any case where (in the judgement of CCMC) insufficient detail has been provided in the CCMC Plant Inspection Form.
Refer to the description above for full details.
