Phishing is a cybercrime in which a targeted individual is contacted by email, telephone or text message by someone posing as a legitimate institution to lure individuals into providing sensitive data such as personally identifiable information and passwords. Phishing is responsible for 95% of targeted cyber-attacks on organizations so there is a need to ensure Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) employees have the awareness and training to mitigate this risk.
A contract for a Simulated Phishing Program will provide AAFC with simulated phishing exercises to assess AAFC employee’s cyber security readiness, provide training to those that require it, and produce statistics and detailed reporting to allow AAFC to evaluate its state of readiness against real attacks.
