Modular Duplex Project – Fort Chipewyan, AB

Description: The project will include the supply and install of a new duplex, in Fort Chipewyan, AB, as well as the supply and install of associated civil upgrades (a new lane, and duplex foundation). The contractor will also be responsible for all engineering and design costs as detailed in the Scope of Work. Within their bid, the successful bidder will bear responsibility and cost to provide a “turn-key” product. The successful bidder will include within their scope of services not only the construction and delivery of the duplex itself, but also pay for and provide the certified personnel with engineering and architectural expertise to comprehensively design and build the duplex, as well as all systems, foundation, utilities, and site preparation necessary. 

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31^st, 2023.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
