Field Trials for Evaluation of Products to Control Potato Early Dying (PED) in Potato, AAFC, Morden Research and Development Centre

REQUIREMENT:

The Morden Research and Development Centre, Integrated-Crop-Production-Systems Program is looking for mechanisms to reduce the severity of Potato Early Dying (PED) and increase potato productivity and profitability. A Contractor is required to conduct research trials on three potato field sites located in Manitoba to examine the potential to control Potato Early Dying through fungicide/nematicide and soil fumigant products in heavily Verticillium spp infested and poorly producing potato fields.

The Contractor will be responsible to provide three (3) sites in Manitoba to conduct the trials, all control products, certified personnel for product use/application, and specialized equipment to undertake the work. The services required are detailed in Appendix B herein. Work is expected to commence in September 2020 (upon date of contract award) and be completed on or before March 31, 2023.
