Amendment 001

This amendment is raised to replace Mandatory Criteria 5 in Annex E.

Amendment 002

This amendment is to correct an error in Amendment 001. Bidders are asked to disregard the drawing included as it does not apply to this solicitation.

This amendment is raised to remove the following section of the Annex C.

This amendment is raised to provide questions and answers.

Amendment 006

This amendment is raised to extend the bid closing date to October 21, 2010.

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) of Heavy Logistic Vehicle Wheeled (HLVW) Compressors, Fuel Injectors, Turbocharger and Radiators to carry out all necessary processes required to return the items to a fully serviceable condition. The work includes: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, overhaul, reassembly, painting, calibration, testing, and packaging & preservation process.

The work under this requirement will be carried out for a three (3) year period from the effective date of contract award, with an option to extend the contract for two (2) additional option periods of one (1) year under the same terms and conditions.

The majority of the work under this requirement will be completed on a "Free Flow" basis. Any work for Special Investigations & Technical Studies (SITS) and/or Technical Investigations & Engineering Studies (TIES) will be completed on an “as and when requested basis” under DND 626 Task Authorization forms.

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Debriefings

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
