Description:
Scope of work is as follows:
Supply temporary generator, electrical panel and outlets for temporary power for existing equipment. Generator must be fully operational prior to starting UPS replacement. Contractor must monitor the generator constantly ensuring sufficient fuel to run the system. The temporary power system must not lose power. Approximate Generator size 100KW 3 phase – final size to be determined on site.
Install new UPS in location shown in the basement of building 1. Complete with 100mm concrete base.
Install new split air conditioning system as shown.
New UPS to be fully installed and tested prior to start of change over of system. Once the generator is running the existing UPS will be turned off and the changeover will take place. Once the change over starts the project must be completed the same day and the system changed back over to the new UPS.
Remove old UPS and dispose of it.
Remove existing split air conditioning system and dispose of it.
Renovation to the room that the unit will be located.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st, 2021.
This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
