Transcription Services

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the provision of transcription services for the Director Special Examinations and Inquiries (DSEI) and the Administrative Investigation Support Center (AISC), on an “if and when” requested basis. Transcription services are to be provided from electronic media sources, provided by the Crown.

There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 – Standing Offer and Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, offerors should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website.

For services requirements, Offerors must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The Department of National Defence reserves the right not to award a Standing Offer, regardless of the responses it receives.

Where this notice and the RFSO differ, the RFSO shall prevail.
