Description: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Edson Detachment in Edson, Alberta, has a requirement for the Supply and Delivery of seasonal Snow Clearing and Snow Removal Services at the RCMP Edson Detachment in Edson, Alberta.
Delivery Date: The proposed period of the contract is a Twenty-four (24) month period from the Contract Start Date, covering the actual work to be performed for the Snow Clearing and Removal Services. The Snow Clearing and Removal Service Contract is required for six (6) months each year from November 1st through to April 30th.
The contract includes an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two additional twelve (12) month periods under the same conditions.
Security: This bid solicitation contains a security requirement.
Optional Site Visit: An optional site visit is being offered, refer to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for details regarding the site visit.
Basis of selection: A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Bidders may bid on either the Grounds Maintenance Services or Snow Clearing Services or both, and that each service category will be evaluated separately, and therefore up to 2 contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
Requirements are in accordance with the Statements of Work in Annex “A” – Parts 1 and 2, and the Mandatory Technical Criteria detailed in the Annex “E” of the Invitation to Tender (I.T.T.) document.
Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit as per page one of the Invitation to Tender (I.T.T.).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
