Acquisition of an open license on existing 2020 LiDAR data in the Montérégie region, QC

An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency
intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier,
thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of
capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set
out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may
then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan requires:

an Open License on LiDAR data acquired in 2020 in the Montérégie region, Qc. The license must be compatible with the Open Government License – Canada: https://open.canada.ca/en/open-government-licence-canada.
This type of licence allows the use and distribution of the LiDAR data and derivative products
generated by the Government of Canada to the entire population without restriction.
