Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to establish up to five (5) Standing Offer Agreements to provide, as and when requested, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting services for CSC’s institutions in response to a suspected or confirmed case of contamination from COVID-19. Some of the facilities targeted by this Standing Offer have housed or are currently housing individuals who tested positive for COVID-19. Other facilities have not housed any COVID-19 positive individuals and require cleaning and disinfecting services as a preventive measure.

Objectives and Deliverables: The Contractor must provide cleaning and disinfecting services (non-urgent and emergency) for CSC facilities in compliance with all applicable federal, provincial, territorial or municipal laws and regulations, and in accordance with Public Health Agency of Canada and Health Canada and other Canadian health and safety authorities’ standards and recommendations.

CSC will provide a description of the specific aspects of a site in each call-up issued to the Contractor.

Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed from standing offer award to Jan 15, 2022 with the option to renew for one (1) additional one-year periods.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
