Security Guard services for the West region excluding Nunavut

Notice of Proposed Procurement

This requirement is for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

Objective:

The Request for Standing Offers (RFSO) is to establish one (1) Standing Offer to up to 5 vendors for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the SO, to the Identified Ontario region, including areas subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs).

Service Canada Centers and Passport offices temporarily closed to the public in March 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. ESDC will now gradually reactivate service at Service Canada Centers (SCC) and Passport offices (PPT) in the Western region while ensuring appropriate health and safety considerations are in place.

The service delivery network will reactivate based on a new service experience model and a new physical work environment.

Service Canada/Employment Social Development Canada (ESDC) has a requirement for security guard services at their 102 locations listed in Annex A, these include Service Canada Centers, Passport Offices and consolidated sites. This Standing Offers (SO) will be used upon right of first refusal engaged by the primary mandatory Standing Offer holder.

Proposed period of contract:

The contract period is estimated to be from 12 months with up to two (2) additional one (1) year option periods.
