NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

Title: Building Envelope Upgrade – Falcon Beach, MB

Description:

Work on this Contract comprises building envelope upgrades and drainage system improvements at 16 Falcon Blvd., Falcon Beach, Manitoba, including but not limited to the following:

.1 Demolition of exterior wall assembly, including existing windows and doors.

.2 Re-construction of new building envelope including sheathing, air barrier, insulation and exterior wall finishes.

.3 Installation of new windows and doors.

.4 Revision to existing mechanical and electrical systems / equipment to suit building envelope modifications.

.5 Excavation around building perimeter to expose existing foundation walls.

.6 Installation of new below grade damp-proofing and insulation to foundation walls.

.7 Provision of new subgrade drainage (weeping tile) system, including new sump pit and pump.

.8 Site grading / drainage improvements around building.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by September 30th, 2021.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.

There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
