SECOND TENDER NOTICE – It came to our attention that there was a discrepancy on the first page of the English version of the RFSO, specifically regarding the bid submittal email address. Therefore, we are republishing the RFSO for five (5) days and inviting companies to resubmit a bid under tender number MA040-A.

This RFSO supersedes previous RFSO number MA040 dated June 21, 2021 with a closing of July 14, 2021 at 3:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.

Description:

The National Capital Commission (NCC) requires the use of moving services on an ongoing basis for operational needs. The NCC is seeking bids in order to obtain moving services on an as and when requested basis for two years with an option to renew for one (1) additional year.

The NCC moves delicate and heritage furniture and art on a daily basis to various locations within the National Capital Region. The NCC also purchases and delivers materials and supplies that require the assistance of movers. Other related duties include assembly of items, reorganization of the NCC warehouse under the direction of NCC staff and waste disposal.

To ensure the integrity of this Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) process, all enquiries and other communications regarding the RFSO must be directed only to Micheline Al-Koutsi, Senior Contract Officer at micheline.al-koutsi@ncc-ccn.ca. Intersted proponents must not contact any other employee of the NCC, or other persons involved in this solicitation to discuss questions regarding the RFSO. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proponent.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Contracting Authority no later than July 19, 2021 in order to be considered by the NCC. Throughout the RFSO bidding process, the NCC shall endeavour to provide responses to inquiries (by the issuance of addenda) deemed relevant by the NCC and received in writing by the Contracting Authority. Only information provided in addenda shall be an integral part of the RFP and any resulting contract. All addenda will be posted on buyandsell.gc.ca.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.
