CCG Twillingate SAR Facility: On-Call Snow Clearing & Ice Control Services.
Snow removal and de-icing will be carried out Twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. The quoted rates will be in effect for the entire period of time. .

Located at 135 Main St., Twillingate, NL, This CCG SAR Facility was opened in 2020, and was a welcome addition to the community. This facility consists of a two‐storey wood‐framed SAR Operations Building (405m2 total) and a 2‐bay FRC Boat Storage Building (230m2). The first level of the SAR Operations Building houses office space, radio/operations room, kitchen, living room and other support space. The second level houses staff accommodations. Lifeboat stations are staffed 24‐7 seasonally on a rotational basis.
General Building Information (applies to both buildings):
The objective of the SOW is to have a qualified contactor to provide “On Call” Snow Clearing & Ice Control at the CCG SAR Facility in Twillingate, NL.
Contractor is to submit a proposal showing the detailed cost estimate of all services described within this “Scope of Work” prior to commencing with any work. (e.g.: estimated cost per visit). The final bid submission is to be inclusive of all the services listed within this sow. For the purposes of costing, contractor to allow for one (1) site visit.
This Scope of Work is Only to be applied after a service request has been placed by the Departmental Representative from RPSS. Services shall consist of the following.
6.1 Snow Clearing
6.2 Ice Control
All detailed work must be completed within timelines noted in section 2.0 to comply with the safety of our tenants and the operation of the building.
8.0 Departmental Support
RPSS will respond to contractor requests ASAP.
RPSS will be responsible for contract administration i.e. Issuing service requests, approval of change orders, processing progress claims and other administrative tasks.
Note: Any sub contractors or consultants engaged by the prime contractor shall conform to the documents noted above in addition to all applicable federal, provincial, and local by-laws/ regulations.
