Stream 6 – Cyber Protection Services – C.16 - Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist – Level 3

Description of Work:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the services of a level 3 Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist in order to develop a comprehensive Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for the Canadian Firearms Program (CFP), particularly as it pertains to the Canadian Firearms Digital Services Solution’s (CFDSS) new and evolving capabilities, which will be incrementally implemented over the next five years.
The new PIA must assess the privacy risks of the CFDSS, including the provision of guidance and advice with respect to modifying CFP policy and procedures involving privacy considerations and any impact on the PIA.
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
Duration of Contract: The contract period will be from date of contract award to August 31, 2022 with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to one (1) additional one-year period.
Minimum Resource Security Required: RCMP Reliability Status is required as per the SRCL of the solicitation.
