BACKGROUND
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has a requirement to implement a limited-scope, “proof of concept”, perimeter wall mock-up at the High Commission of Canada (HCC) in New Delhi, India. A Stage 1 Request for Qualification (RQ) was published on Buyandsell.gc.ca (RQ 21-193563). The companies which qualified will now be receiving the Stage 2 Request for Proposal (RFP).
OBJECTIVES
The objective of this project is to explore a limited range of architectural and structural design options for a new perimeter wall through the construction of a series of full-scale mock-ups. Based on DFATD’s post-construction evaluation of the mock-ups, DFATD intends to issue a separate RFP for the works required for the design and construction of the full perimeter wall at a later date.
NEW SUPPLIERS
The RFP is also open to suppliers who are interested and capable of doing the work, and who demonstrate that they meet the mandatory requirements for prequalification as described in RQ 21-193563.
Interested suppliers may request more information by sending an email to realproperty-contracts@international.gc.ca. The email must have NPP 21-193563 in the subject line.
