COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT
This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as required precedent to contract award will render the bid non-responsive.
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada is requesting exclusive services of one (1), intermediate class helicopter for wildland fire management operations.
Primary duties of the required aircraft include:
Support of other park management operations including, resource management, wildlife management, visitor safety, law enforcement, and asset management, may be required as directed by Parks Canada.
The principal base of operations for the aircraft will be Jasper, Alberta. Other base locations throughout the National Parks may be used for day-basing or multi-day deployments.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2024 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period(s) from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 inclusive, and April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 inclusive under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.
SECURITY REQUIREMENT
There is a security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.
New personnel security clearance requests will require mandatory fingerprints to initiate the criminal record check. The validity of an existing personnel security clearance issued by the Government of Canada is not affected by the change in the criminal record check process. Applicants who require a personnel security clearance are responsible for all costs associated with fingerprinting.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
