DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

The Office of Audit and Evaluation (OAE) of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is seeking the services of a contracting firm with expertise in performing financial management assessments. AAFC is requesting services through the Professional Audit Support Services (PASS) Supply Arrangement, Internal Audit Stream.

The Deputy Minister approved the estimated contracting resources for the Preliminary Assessment of Financial Management, as part of the 2022-23 OAE Plan.

The Corporate Management Branch (CMB) oversees financial management at AAFC. Within CMB, the Finance and Resource Management Services Directorate provides relevant financial information, services and advice to both internal and external stakeholders.

An assessment of financial management within AAFC has not been previously performed by Internal Audit. This type of assessment may help identify possible future audit and/or advisory engagements within this area.

DURATION OF CONTRACT

From the date of Contract award to October 31st, 2022.
