Earth Observation Derived Products for Climate Change Monitoring

By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders to establish a contract to enable various projects through task authorizations. The contractor will provide Earth Observation (EO) derived products for visualization, time-series analysis and monitoring purposes. The following products will contribute to the management of lands and marine areas in the context of climate change by helping to:

• Understand where changes are taking place and identify areas of special importance,
• Understanding actions needed in relation to climate change concerns,
• Assist governments, conservation groups and industry to develop land and marine areas policies and protocols, and
• Measure performance of those policies and protocols towards land and marine areas sustainability objectives.

The contract will be from date of award to March 31, 2024 with a three (3) Option periods.
