    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the Statement of Work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada CORCAN has a service requirement for the maintenance, repairs, installation and relocation, on an as required basis, of all tools, machinery and equipment at its various manufacturing facilities inside the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

    Objectives: The Contractor must ensure the proper functioning of all tools, machinery and equipment at its various manufacturing facilities inside the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

    Deliverables:

    The work covered by this service contract consists of providing the necessary labour required to perform the required work. The service is to be provided on-site at the following CORCAN shops:

    Dorchester Penitentiary – 4902 Main Street, Dorchester, New Brunswick

    Atlantic Institution – 13175 Route 8, Smith Crossing, New Brunswick

    Community Industries Moncton – 310 Baig boulevard, Moncton, New Brunswick

    Springhill Institution – 330 McGee Street, Springhill, Nova Scotia

    Nova Institution – 180 James Street, Truro, Nova Scotia

    1. The Contractor must provide the Project Authority:
    1. A monthly report including the following:
      1. the date of the work;
      2. the Work Site where the work was completed;
      3. day-to-day activities, including a brief description of the work performed;
      4. The sum of time spent on each tool, machinery, equipment.
    1. The Technical Resource (technician) must:
    1. Perform maintenance, repairs, installation and relocation of CORCAN tools, machinery and equipment according to the schedule of tasks to be performed.
    1. Complete a time sheet that will be approved by the Production Supervisor or the Shop Instructor on site at the end of the day or following a service call.
    1. Write a detailed progress report and have it signed by the Production Supervisor or Shop Instructor on site before leaving the workplace. A copy of this report should be left on site, and the original should be provided to the on-site Production Supervisor, Shop Instructor or Operations Manager upon request.
    1. Produce a calendar of tasks each Friday for the following week and submit it to the project manager.

    Term of Contract

    Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023 with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.
