This contract is for the services of one (1) intermediate technical writer to develop/write summaries for research projects (from proposals and/or final project reports) to communicate science to a broad audience, regardless of knowledge or experience and be suitable to be posted on the Department of fisheries and Oceans (DFO) Science website. The summaries are used to showcase Ecosystem and Ocean Sciences funded projects and Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Government of Canada investments in science.

Duration of contract: February 7, 2023 to March 31, 2024. There is also an irrevocable option to extend the contract by a one-year period
