Accelerating Earth Observation Innovations

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), located in Longueuil (Quebec), is releasing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of the goods and services for the purpose of accelerating Earth Observation application innovations to address Canada’s environmental and socioeconomic challenges. As part of this initiative, the CSA requires the intelligent use of satellite data to develop Innovative Concept Solutions (ICS) for several key environmental and socioeconomic applications challenges of current importance to Canada that can be addressed using Earth Observation data as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) in Annex A Stage 1 - Concept Definition. The procurement process for the ICS will be conducted in a Two-Stage approach: Stage 1 – RFP for the Concept Definition (stage 1) and Stage 2 – RFP for the Concept Demonstration (stage 2). Only the successful Bidder(s)who have been selected under Stage 1 - RFP will be eligible to participate in stage 2RFP process conducted by PWGSC as described in further details below. As such, the Stage 2 - RFP for the Concept Demonstration will only be released to the successful Bidder(s) selected under the Stage 1 - RFP for the Concept Definition.
