The project will include interior and exterior renovations of the structured intervention unit, at the CSC Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert SK. The work generally consists of alterations to the Unit 6 Building in order to facilitate time outside of cells for inmates held in segregation, in line with the Human Rights Tribunal order. This includes the conversion of a kitchenette to a program room, a conversion to provide a common room space, associated detention doors, as well as HVAC, lighting, inmate telephone, and camera and intercom systems, and office upgrades for prison staff including lighting, millwork, shelving,and finishes.
