The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), National Microbiology Laboratory (NML), Winnipeg, Manitoba has the requirement for an annual maintenance agreement (service agreement) for their Thermo Fisher Glacios Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) System, which includes the Glacios TEM, Phase Plate solution, Ceta 16M camera, and the Falcon 4 200kV camera. The annual maintenance agreement will include both a single, scheduled annual preventative maintenance service, and as-and-when requested unscheduled maintenance and telephone support. The maintenance service agreement on the TEM System will include replacement of (malfunctioning) parts (excluding additional accessory parts, consumables and Third Party items not identified), labour, transportation and travel expenses. Only manufacturer authorized services are acceptable. The period of the requirement is one year, with Canada retaining the irrevocable option to extend the period of the contract by an additional two (2), one (1) year periods. The requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. There are security requirements associated with the contract.
