General Description Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Department of National Defence; is hereby issuing this Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for the provision of Aviation emergency Breathing System for delivery to Montreal and Edmonton. The Standing Offer will be valid for a period of 3 years with the possibility to extend for an additional 2 periods of 1(one) year. The total value of the proposed Standing Offer is estimated at $ 2,012,500.00 (including option years) GST/HST excluded. Since Aqua Lung Canada Ltd. has the IP rights for this equipment the SO will be sole sourced to them. Individual call-ups against the Standing Offer will not exceed $40,000.00 (GST/HST included) to keep better control of the call-ups. The financial Limitation will be $1,050,000.00 for the first three years and $ 350,000.00 per year for the options The proposed contractor will be requested to provide a quarterly status on all the call-ups being raised. Approval Advance approval is sought in the amount of $ 2,012,500.00 for the standing offer and the extension periods. The above mentioned amount (Funding) was provided for the five years.
