The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has a requirement for Avian Influenza sample testing services from a certified lab in the province of British Columbia region . The Contractor will perform the Real-time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RRT-PCR) testing for the detection of Avian Influenza, produce Reports of analysis (ROA), and inform the CFIA with a turnaround time for results within 24-hours after receipt of the sample. The testing is required in support of the CFIA’s mandate to support , respond and, where possible, mitigate the impact of this disease.
