The Department of National Defence requires the purchase and processing of RADARSAT-2 satellite data products and added value products with an accompanying extended sharing license on an "as and when requested" basis as described below: • To support the near real time applications, the Data Product must be able to be direct downlinked and processed at Foreign Commercial Ground Stations or Allied Partner Ground Stations; • The product options include new acquisition or long-term archive data, direct downlinked raw data or processed data products, processed in NITF or GEOTIFF data formats as required, differing levels of programming priority and differing levels of confidentiality; and • Value added Services are designed to provide operation information to decision makers across a broad range of market areas, including agriculture, aviation, defence and security, disaster management, mining, natural resources, oil and gas, and urban monitoring.
