Project Objective: MPs recently voted to permanently adopt hybrid proceedings to allow MPs to access sessions remotely and conduct e-voting. This project is intended to greatly increase video conferencing and remote participation capabilities. Background: During the pandemic, parliamentary operations permitted for the first time remote participation that required video conferencing capability and e-voting. Technological improvements, such as monitors positioned around the chamber and increased connectivity, were installed to assist with this initiative. These installations were seen as temporary during this time; however, there is now a need for a permanent solution that will accommodate hybrid business operations going forward. Scope Overview Removal of all temporary installations Two (2) existing 76" monitors to be made permanent on South Wall of Chamber
