The Project Officer identified issues to improve Universal Accessibility on the Escarpment Stairs located on the left of Center Block near Queen Victoria Statue. PSPC – Public Services and Procurement Canada requires a general contractor to perform the following work at the Parliament Hill Grounds : • Tactile Attention Indicators must be installed on top of exterior stairs and landings. • Install colour contrast strips on each treads.
