The scope of work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for wharf reconstruction at St. Lawrence, NL, in strict accordance with the specifications and accompanying drawings, and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. Work will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
1. Demolition and removal of the existing wharf and all related wharf components, including but not limited to ladders, structural timbers, reinforced concrete deck, old concrete foundations, creosote cribwork, cleats, jib crane foundations, electrical components, etc., as noted on the drawings.
2. Construction of a new treated timber crib wharf, with reinforced concrete deck and slab on grade, to the dimensions as indicated on the drawings.
3. Supply and installation of mooring cleats, structural timber for wheelguard, wheelguard blocking, fenders, ladders and associated hardware for new wharf construction.
4. Uplands work as noted on the drawings (includes granulars and shoreline rip rap).
5. Harbour dredging, as noted on the drawings.
6. Electrical work (poles, pedestals, jib crane), including a new electrical shed as noted on the drawings.
