The present requirement concerns the acquisition of an electrically-powered Autonomous Surface Hydrographic Vehicle (ASHV), with the option of acquiring two additional ASHVs. The ASHV must be a commercially-designed catamaran that provides stability for survey operations in harbors and coastal waters. The VHSA must also be able to survey shallow areas in remote regions such as the Arctic. It must be able to be deployed on site by a single person, and assembled and disassembled without tools. The VHSA must fit into the Ministry's fleet of vehicles, so that it can be transported and stored safely during overnight trip.
