The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement to purchase and delivery of two (2) Intruder Integrated Camera Systems, to be delivered in RCMP, Surrey by March 31, 2026 as described in Annex- Statement of Requirement. These cameras will assist Emergency Response Team (ERT) on Intelligence gathering, Threat identification, Increasing Police (including the Police Service Dog) safety and public safety, Increasing the reactionary gap for ERT operators on critical incidents, Providing enhanced technology to assist with domestic terrorism where explosives detection is a threat/concern. The requirement also includes an option to purchase up to an additional six (6) cameras over the next 3-year period, to fulfill the ERT Integrated Tactical Application Canine (“ITA-K9”) program requirement.These camera systems will be sourced through a sole source contract.The contractor, K9 Storm Inc., is the sole source of purchase based on compatibility to existing infrastructure and integration with other Intruder Integrated Camera Systems already used within ERT. Mandatory delivery date for Integrated Camera Systems is on or before March 31, 2026.
