Key components of the upgrade include new transformers, busways, cable trays, and automatic transfer switches (ATS) to enhance system reliability and redundancy. The project also integrates advanced safety and control features, including arc flash detection systems (AFD) and connection to the existing Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS). Temporary feeders and phased construction sequencing will be implemented to maintain a continuous power supply, including normal, emergency, and uninterruptible power systems throughout the work.
