The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) require the replacement of their Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) at six (6) marine communication and traffic service (MCTS) base stations in Southern British Columbia. As part of this replacement project the CCG require the services of a contractor experienced in the replacement of outside plant tower and rooftop mounted antenna systems. Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour to replace the outside plant portion of the RADAR systems on four (4) existing CCG sites. The fifth site, Mount Parke, and the sixth site, Mount Ozzard, will be held as an option in the contract that the CCG may include at their discretion. Work at these sites includes, but is not limited to: 1. Removal of old RADAR antennas, transmission lines, power cables and associated fixtures. 2. Removal and disposal of old steel RADAR pedestals and hardware. 3. Installation of new steel RADAR pedestals and mounting hardware. 4. Installation of new RADAR antennas, transmission lines, power cables and associated fixtures.
