    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is undertaking remediation work at multiple sites along the Alaska Highway (Highway 97) in northern British Columbia. The Project is focused on bringing the Maintenance Camps into alignment with the general management goals related to federal contaminated sites as defined by the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP). The Project is intended to reduce long-term financial liability and ecological risks to the standard of care required by PSPC policy. Sikanni STF is at the Sikanni Maintenance Camp located at kilometer 254 of the Alaska Highway. The Scope of Work under this Contract includes the completion of offsite disposal of contaminated soil and relocation of compliant soil to onsite stockpiles. The primary contaminants of concern (COCs) in soil are petroleum hydrocarbons. No infrastructure at the camps will be available to the Contractor. The Contractor’s use of the sites shall be limited to the designated work areas for the Project.
