The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, located at the Gulf Fisheries Centre, 343 Université Ave, Moncton, NB has a requirement for one PCR system to replace an instrument which is being discontinued. The real-time PCR systems will be used for the detection of pathogens by the National Aquatic Animal Health Program. These instruments must be able to run standalone without the need of computer using a touch screen interface. Conversely, if users prefer the use of a computer, up to four instruments should be linkable to a single computer, thus greatly reducing the footprint of the system.
