The National Radar Program (NRP) at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of:a) Measurement devices: portable devices, able to operate on batteries or via wall-power to perform routine and corrective Radio Frequency (RF) measurements on the radar system, troubleshoot waveguide faults, and provide capability to tune waveguides for proper system performance. The device will be compatible with the frequency range of the S-Band radars, and may be compatible with the X-Band radar.b) It would also be a portable device, able to operate on batteries or via wall-power.c) VSWR Sensors in support of the 33 Leonardo 1700S S-Band Radars installed across Canada. This VSWR Sensor system is only available from Leonardo Germany, and will improve monitoring of the S-Band Radar Network.d) Design software to support monitoring of the 33 Leonardo 1700S S-Band Radars installed across Canada. This software design is requested by ECCC/CFSB to ensure the radar monitoring tool can be supported into the future.
