    Description
FCC has shifted from a monoline lender to a multi-line, multi-segment organization and is seeking to strengthen operational maturity through enhanced governance and cascading of risk appetite to ensure effective first line and strategy execution. With FCC’s 2022 strategy refresh, developed to address the evolving needs of Canada’s agriculture, agri-food, and agribusiness sectors, the shift to a multi-segment organization has highlighted the need for more mature operational management processes.

FCC is developing an initiative aimed at aligning its operations practices to its risk appetite, optimizing the lending process, and enhancing governance practices within its lending operations.
