    Description
    Reissue of Solicitation of Offers. This solicitation of offers cancels and supersedes previous solicitation of offers number Doc5530129444 with a closing of 12 March 2026 at 14:00 EST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to Offeror's who offered on the previous solicitation of offers. Canada has a requirement for repairs to two barges at St. Andrew’s Lock and Dam (SALD) in Lockport, Manitoba. Project intent is to extend working life of the barges for another three to five years. The two barges in this Contract are unpowered barges manoeuvred with push tugs. Both are fitted with Hiab hydraulic cranes with grapples on the booms. Work must commence and be completed as follows: Commence: upon contract signing; Complete: March 1, 2027. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation of offers is open only to Canadian suppliers. The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin of the vessel (Canada), in accordance with the PWGSC Supply Manual Article 3.170.10(a). This procurement is subject to CFTA and is exempt from CETA Chapter 19 Annex 19-7(1.a), and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
