Description
The Province utilizes Contingent Resources as a critical element of its workload management strategy primarily to handle the variable portion of project workload and to meet temporary requirements.
“Contingent Resource” refers to temporary non-employment contracts by which a resource (a person, contractor or service provider) acts as an independent contractor and makes a commitment to the Province to carry out material or intellectual work or to provide a service for a price or fee.
As a result of a Request for Proposals posted on Ariba Discovery (reference Ariba opportunity number Doc4057675673), the Province has contracted with HCM Works Inc. (“HCMWorks”) to provide Contingent Resource acquisition services utilizing the Province’s vendor management system, SAP Fieldglass.
Suppliers wishing to provide Contingent Resource services for one or more of the roles specified on the attached document entitled “Contingent Resource Roles”, may contact the HCMWorks Program Manager at alberta@hcmworks.com to commence the registration process. As part of the registration process, suppliers must sign a master services agreement with HCMWorks.
