Town of Stony Plain - Invitation to Bid - 2024 Transportation Safety Improvement Program - Surface Improvements & Other Work

The intent of this Tender is to obtain a formal offer to construct and complete the 2024 Transportation Safety Improvement Program - Surface Improvements & Other Work herein referred to as the Work in the Town of Stony Plain. The Work of planned improvements to enhance pedestrian and vehicle safety at selected intersections in the Town of Stony Plain will involve the following: - Forming, placing and finishing concrete islands of various sizes and shapes formed and affixed to the existing asphalt cement pavement wearing surface by means of doweled pins (or, Pin-On Concrete). - Adjusting existing concrete monolithic sidewalks allowing for new wheelchair ramps. - Supply and installation of flexible plastic delineator posts. - Supply and installation of new durable painted pedestrian crossing barrier lines. - Installing two new rapid rectangular flashing crosswalk flashing beacons. Note: This procurement is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
