City of Calgary - Request for Proposal - 23-1709 Stormwater Management Facility Repairs

The City Water Services (WS) maintains and operates over 350 stormwater management facilities including dry and wet ponds, bioretention, continuous deflective separators (CDS), oil-grit-separators (OGS) and outfalls to the freshwater bodies. As of 2023, there are 110 stormwater facilities that are older than 20 years and require repairing of some components. The project aims to repair 140 components at 29 stormwater facilities, with a total value of $2,200,000. Budget may be increased based on other stormwater programs, priorities, and emergencies. This RFP is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to the Submission Deadline that they are prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories: C7200107 Stormwater Ponds and Wetlands; and/or C7200104 Outfalls, Riverbank Stabilization and Erosion Protection.
